Spring Exhibition
The 2026 HECHI FIELD MEDIA WALL features relatable, citizen-centered art designed for everyone to enjoy. Aiming to bring media art into the daily lives of both locals and tourists at Gwanghwamun Plaza, this year’s inaugural Spring Exhibition transforms the urban landscape into a vibrant "Media Garden." The showcase highlights blooming flowers, seasonal hues, and the unique essence of Seoul’s time and space, all through the diverse lenses of participating artists. We invite you to experience these moments of spring that bridge the gap between people and the city here at the HECHI FIELD MEDIA WALL.

Featured Artist Exhibition, Afterimages of Time : Permeate and Tint - LabOE
This media artwork visualizes the impressions of afterimages and shifts in color within a space where the past and present intersect. Lines of light cutting through the deep darkness represent the trajectories of the countless souls who have passed through this place; these afterimages then fragment into vivid flowers and particles of light, blooming in a brilliant display. It serves as a metaphor for a process where traces of the past do not vanish but instead quietly permeate the present, tinting the landscape anew. Within the diverse trajectories formed by these scattering shards of light, we come face-to-face with the layers of time in its eternal cycle.

Come and discover the magic of the Han River as it transforms from morning to night in this enchanting journey.
Seasonal Exhibition : The Blooming Garden, Bloom of Hope - illustDA
Within the delicate daisy lies a quiet strength. New beginnings. Hope. At the heart of a quiet, unfolding flutter, a small spark of hope begins to stir.
Seasonal Exhibition : The Blooming Garden, Full Bloom of Spacetime : The Pulse of Seoul - HwaYoo
This work surreally connects the dual layers of Seoul—symbolized by Gwanghwamun and Namsan Tower—through lifeforms shaped from flowers. A family of horses, composed of red blooms as a metaphor for the 2026 Year of the Red Horse, acts as both a source of vitality breathing warmth into stark urban structures and a conduit of time linking the past and future. The intense color energy radiating from the horses' spirited movement projects a modern liveliness onto static historical landscapes, visualizing an organic harmony where new hope blossoms upon the foundation of tradition.
Seasonal Exhibition : The Blooming Garden,Garden of Pointillism - tough-cookie
This modern digital painting visualizes an infinitely expanding vitality, beginning from a single "dot" that symbolizes the source of life. It captures the fleeting moment where tens of thousands of dots, seemingly scattered across the canvas, begin to breathe and transform into vibrant, colorful petals. In this work, the flowers are not defined by sharp outlines; instead, fine particles infused with soft light gather densely to give shape to the forms. This serves as a profound message of reverence for life—just as all existence in the universe begins as a tiny atom (a dot), these small, modest entities coalesce to create immense waves of magnificent beauty.
Seasonal Exhibition : The Blooming Garden,A Flower Giant - Zeus
Flowers imbued with the vibrant colors of spring gather to form a magnificent garden in the shape of a giant. This spring garden extends a warm greeting to the city on behalf of the season itself. Infusing the urban routine with a gentle glow, it invites passersby to pause their busy steps for a moment of rest. Through this floral giant, we are invited to rediscover the long-forgotten sensations of the season once again.
